TASCK, From September 29 to October 2nd, 2022, renowned artists from across the continent will take Lagos by storm for a fascinating festival combining music, culture, lifestyle, and social impact.

The TASCK Creative company will invite creatives, civil society organizations and private sectors to come together and encourage young Nigerians to participate in the upcoming 2023 elections. The event is set to be an immersive experience that will chart the way forward for the creative industry and social impact in Nigeria and on the continent.

After a stellar debut in 2021, the festival is back and better than ever with a variety of incredible events, such as a panel discussion with conversations about creatives using their platform for change and a networking session inviting creatives to discuss their social projects for potential funding, as well as a world wide live stream concert honoring Nigeria’s independence day with some of the biggest musical acts including Waje and Tomi Owo.

The festival will have more than just entertaining activities; in collaboration with Battle Rap Africa, it will also host a Block party which will feature the infamous Blaqbonez as the headlining act. On top of that, up and coming rappers will be given the opportunity to show off their skills at the concert. A cookout which will include food and live performances by M.I. and several of his well-known friends will also be part of the festival.

“Nigeria is not ready for this festival! Where have we seen an event where we’re bringing up and coming artists, A-list artists, activists, tech guys, private sector guys all together in the same space to have conversations, eat, party, and create change? I mean it’s unheard of,” Jude ‘M.I’ Abaga, CEO of TASCK says: “We’re giving young creatives a platform to shine and at the same time we’re telling people to go out and vote.”

The event will give creatives the opportunity to utilize their platform as a means to drive social impact. In keeping with the ongoing #vote4Nigeria and #iregistered campaigns, creatives will use their influence and encourage audiences to collect their PVC’s and vote in the upcoming 2023 elections.

TASCK went on to announce that the IMF will also take place in Jos, Plateau at a later date with a lineup that will have some of the most exciting names in the industry, from international superstars to homegrown talents.

Through fostering important conversations and sending powerful messages, the TASCK Creative company has remained consistent in its work to bridge the gap between creativity and influence. The company is a driving force in the entertainment industry and this event is just an example of its spectacular influence on creatives.
